



A showcase at the Schepis
The Schepis Museum of Columbia proudly announces a new showcase featuring art from Pat Cene Howard!
Showcase – Pat Cene Howard
About the artist: Born in Oklahoma and a Louisiana resident since 1974, Pat Cene Howard has been painting professionally for 25 years. She enjoys a variety of media including oil, pastel, watercolor and pencil. She also portrays a multitude of subject matter such as portraits, figure studies, still life’s and landscapes. Pat Cene has studies with internationally known artists including Daniel Greene, Cedric Egili, Albert Handell, and Doug Walton. Her work has been influenced by working closely with fellow artist Becky Rich whose portrait work Howard greatly admires. “though I have learned so much from these artists, God is the only true creator and the creation process takes place in my work only when I yield to Him.”
The artist’s work is included in private and corporate collections across America.
